Nordic Music Awards was an ambitious award ceremony arranged in 2004 in Oslo and 2005 in Copenhagen, where Project NEMO participated in the latter. The project was an attempt to unite the Scandinavian award ceremonies under one roof to attract larger artists from across the globe, and despite great success the project was cancelled in 2006. In 2005 the event took place in a packed Forum arena and with a couple of million viewers from Danmark, Sweden and Norway, watching performances from such megastars as Shakira, Robbie Williams, Coldplay and Pharrell.
Project NEMO handled the interests of the two main sponsors, Sony-Ericsson and Telia. Among this was planning, developing and executing a spectacular experience for the 300 VIP guests invited, both during the show and at the following after party at Hotel Mariott.
The focus was on a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the VIP guests from start to end, including an exclusive VIP area during the award ceremony in Forum. A range of delicious drinks and food was served in the area, crowded with several of the big stars attending the show. We also coordinated the logistic aspects such as invitations, follow-ups and transportation of both guests and stars to the ceremony and after party.
We also developed and arranged the exclusive after party, where the VIP guests could mingle with the famous stars, enjoy a wide range of drinks and snacks and party ‘till the break of dawn.
